But before proceeding to the next step, here is something to remember before tossing your hands into the mixer. As this recipe require lots of sea salt, just before dipping your fingers into the mixer bowl, you may want to check for cut on your fingers otherwise salt is not going to be soothing to cut. Okay, let the fun begin.

Preheat your oven to 350 F. Combine all the listed ingredients and form into a dough. Using a teaspoon or so of dough at a time, roll it gently in the palm of your hand until it forms a ball. Form all dough into one teaspoon balls, and gently place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Consider sprinkling the bath balls with herbs, flower petals, cloves, citrus zest and similar aromatic ingredients. Bake your bath cookies for ten minutes, until they are lightly browned. Do not over bake. Allow the bath cookies to cool completely. Also, Salt inside the cookie act as a heat storage and can take longer to cool. Be patient with your baked cookies.

To use, Drop 1 or 2 cookies into a warm bath and allow to dissolve. Yield: 24 cookies, enough for 12 baths." Another fun use of bath cookie is to use them as scrubs. Drop 1 into the bath tub and keep another one as a scrub. Gently rub the cookie against your body to let the salt and the essential oil cleanse and nurture the skin. I wouldn't suggest it working against your face though. As the high concentration of salt may itch eyes and sensitive skin.

Bath cookie is really fun to work with and you can add other ingredients as you like.
